BAKED BEEF TACOS
These Baked Beef Tacos are the ultimate weeknight dinner — crispy, cheesy, and full of bold Tex-Mex flavor! Seasoned ground beef is tucked into taco shells, topped with melty cheese, and baked to golden perfection. Easy to make and even easier to love, they’re perfect for feeding a crowd or spicing up Taco Tuesday.

Servings: makes 10-12 tacos
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)
- ½ cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans or refried beans (optional)
- 10–12 stand-and-stuff taco shells
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, jalapeños, avocado
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil for easy cleanup.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer until thickened. Stir in beans if using.
- Arrange taco shells upright in the baking dish. Fill each shell with the beef mixture, then top generously with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and shells are golden and crisp.
- Top and serve with your favorite fixings!
Serving Suggestions:
- Pair with Mexican rice, street corn, or guacamole and chips.
- Great with a side of lime wedges or a drizzle of hot sauce.
Tips:
- To prevent soggy bottoms, add a sprinkle of cheese to the bottom of each taco shell before filling.
