Ballpark Pretzel Bites with Cheese Dip

Bring the stadium home with these soft, golden Ballpark Pretzel Bites, paired with a creamy homemade cheese dip. Chewy on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside, these little bites deliver that signature ballpark taste everyone craves. The warm cheddar cheese dip is smooth and satisfying — ideal for dipping, dunking, and cheering in between innings!

Servings: Serves 6–8 as a snack

Ingredients:
Pretzel Bites:
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Coarse salt
Cheese Dip:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough and cut into 1-inch pieces.
  3. Boil 4 cups water and add baking soda. Briefly dip dough pieces into the mixture, then place on the sheet.
  4. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. For cheese dip: 
  7. Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk and cheese, stirring until smooth.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve in paper cones or bowls with the cheese dip in small ramekins. Add spicy mustard for a second dipping option!

Tips:
  • For extra flavor, brush finished pretzels with melted garlic butter.
  • Keep pretzels warm in a low oven (200°F) until ready to serve.
